spuds , which varieties of tomatoes are you growing... they all look great. Cherry Bush and sweet 1 million cherry toms.A couple beefsteak.Three varieties of purple heirlooms i got seeds from from the farmers market toms i bought.A roma...called Marzano (thats a really good one),and 2 tomatillos for salsa that have done poorly this year. Marzano romas and sweet 1 million are doing the best here. They bloom and ripen early and thats my special needs here,we get snow in winter and summer is short. Im working on tomato cuttings right now to see if i can get small plants to bring indoors for next year.Hope they take, its been a week and they havent wilted yet. Never done the cuttings before, just clipped off small shoots and even trying some leaf shoots to see what happens.Doing them in my aquaponics bed in hoophouse. Some direct into grow media, and some in cups with soil in them, cup inserted 75% deep into bed with weep holes in bottom.

I was able to buy my buckets for 1.75 each, new and clean, they were from a bakery and had cake frosting in them. But kitty litters for free, just ask you friends with cats for them,in my case nephew must have 50 he saved....and get those free, what a system!

Apparently this system grows excellent dog plants with soccer ball size fruit.

We put a smaller container in the middle of ours with holes in the bottom...we filled it with llama beans...LOL...when we water, we fill the middle and feed the plant as well...all my good pics are on Photobucket and they cannot be shown....***...but we have white barrels with holes cut in them, and grow strawberries in the holes, and herbs on the top...you can see the barrel a little on this picture...yes, we have four thousand gallons of water stored..LOL
